Workplaces working with migrant women
A network project that unites two halves of the world of female employment, non-profit and profit, which can make a difference only by moving together.
The project was born thanks to the support of the Directorate-General for Migration and Internal Affairs of the European Commission in 2021 in 4 European countries - Italy, Portugal, Germany and Greece - and Quid is the leader of this network that originates by leveraging best practices that arise and act in the workplace, formidable laboratories of integration.
Worldplaces – workplaces working with migrant women is the first European cross-sector network bringing together both the for-profit and non-profit worlds to unite the two halves of women’s employment: foreign women entering the local labor market for the first time and women who already master that same labor market.
Working in partnership with eight other European partners, Quid has designed and piloted new recruitment, learning, mentoring, and leadership processes and services aimed at making workplaces the starting point for a dynamic and spontaneous process of social integration for migrant women workers, particularly those with low formal qualifications.
