CRISALIS is a social-work placement program for women who are survivors of human trafficking. Coordinated and piloted by three young European social enterprises, Quid (Italy), Makers Unite (Netherlands) and The Language Project (Greece), the project combines concrete employment opportunities, creative expression workshops and artistic co-design experiences.
This scarf stems from the European project CRISALIS, is co-designed by the beneficiaries and celebrates the contribution of creativity to integration, empowerment and equality in the labor market.
It tells a story of courage, redemption and beauty. The images, symbols and words that populate the textures of this accessory are born from the encounter of twelve women who survived trafficking and found in Quid a space and time for transformation and that of those who were able to welcome, train and support them. For this second edition, Crisalis graphics meet the fine silks of Gentili Mosconi. High-quality production remnants made available to us to create, once again, a true manifesto of appreciation, incitement and inspiration from woman to woman. Gift it to a friend or those who matter most to you, it will be a talisman of transformation and new beginnings.
Thanks to Gentili Mosconi
